Whether it's a garage, extension, dormer or commercial unit, we install flat roofs that actually stay watertight. Our preferred systems are GRP fibreglass and EPDM rubber — both high-performance, fully waterproof and fitted to manufacturer spec.
Most flat roof failures we attend are bad detailing, not bad materials. We get the detailing right first time.
For most UK homes the best options are GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber. GRP gives a seamless, hard-wearing finish and EPDM is a single-piece membrane with a 50-year material life. Both outlast traditional felt and resist UK weather extremely well.
A modern GRP flat roof typically lasts 25 to 30 years, while EPDM rubber roofs commonly last 40 to 50 years. Old-style mineral felt usually fails after 10 to 15 years. We only fit GRP and EPDM systems with our 20-year workmanship guarantee.
Most flat roof leaks come from poor detailing — bad upstands, missing trims, or splits at junctions — not the membrane itself. Standing water from poor falls is the second most common cause. We rebuild falls and detailing properly so leaks don't return.
